About Us

1st Colsterworth Scout Group is one of Grantham District’s oldest groups, being one of the groups listed on Grantham District’s registration with The Scout Association in 1911.

1st Colsterworth Scout Group has a Beaver Colony, a Cub Pack and in 2017 we successfully re introduced our Scout troop. For children aged over 14 Explorer groups are available in Ancaster and Grantham.

Funding for equipment and events are raised by the group fundraising. This has included bag packing, car park supervising, helping at village events and recycling clothes.

We are also hugely thankful to the Frederick Ingle Trust who have kindly donated to our group.
